Montana Tourism & Recreation Strategic Plan 2008-2012
A Fresh Path Forward
Welcome to the Montana Tourism & Recreation Strategic Plan 2008-2012 home page. Our Plan’s “Home” gives you access to all the strategic plan documents as well as stakeholder reports on progress in completing the plan’s 86 actions design to achieve 10 target goals.
Download any and all parts of the plan and reports. Share them with others. Educate your community, organization or agency. Keep track of your successes and share them so we can celebrate your achievements with other plan stakeholders.
Strategic Plan Stakeholder Reports
The Montana Office of Tourism is providing strategic plan stakeholders with an on-line reporting system to track progress on accomplishing the plan’s actions, strategies and goals. Below are reports taken from this reporting system. As we move forward with the plan, we’ll be updating this section with the new reports throughout the strategic plan timeline.
What’s here now? The Complete Stakeholder Report shows all stakeholder reports on all their responsibilities under the plan – this has everyone's reports in one place. The other reports are subsets of the full report. They provide individual stakeholder group reports so if you are only interested in certain groups or actions, you don't have to search through the complete report for them. If a stakeholder group's report you are looking for is not included in the list, contact MT Office of Tourism's Victor Bjornberg and he'll get it for you: vbjornberg@mt.gov.
The reports use a traffic light coloring system and symbols to indicate progress on the various actions (referred to as tactics in the report) and objectives or strategies. Here's a legend for the Status Symbols used in the reports – this is also included at the beginning of each stakeholder report:
