Montana Office of Tourism
MEDIA PARTNERS & VENDORS: How to Submit Your Proposal/Information
Thank you for your interest in working with the Montana Office of Tourism. Our marketing efforts rely heavily on visuals to communicate Montana’s platform of, “More spectacular unspoiled nature than anywhere else in the lower 48,” and we are consistently looking for new partners to help us get our message out to prospective visitors. We are looking for media and marketing partners that can connect us with our target audience, whom we define as the Geotraveler. We want to showcase popular destinations such as Yellowstone and Glacier National Parks among the many other spectacular sites Montana has to offer.
Due to the high volume of interest in Montana Tourism advertising, we have created a simple way to submit information or a proposal and contact the team working on the account. Please ensure that your opportunity fulfills the following criteria for consideration:
1) Opportunity has a significant audience of Geotravelers.- Geotravelers have multi-faceted interests and will take in a number of attractions during a vacation so long as they are authentic to the culture they are visiting. The Geotravelers’ choice of travel destination is affected by:
- Their desire to customize their experiences and create their own personal connections when traveling.
- An emphasis on making the most of every moment due to the lack of time in their day-to-day lives.
- The pervasive nature of technology in planning their travels and exploring their destinations before they arrive.
- Their desire to live on a healthy planet.
- Opportunity for Montana’s tourism regions, CVBs and other travel partners to co-op with MTOT on advertising efforts
- Opportunity to provide additional content opportunities on travel to Montana. EXAMPLE: Whether it is a unique hiking experience in Glacier or a little known but historic site in Eastern Montana, we want the ability to share this story with our audience through our advertising partners
