With summer right around the corner, what can Montana expect from the summer travel season this year?


Hollywood Premiere In Montana

Call of the Wild 3D will have its worldwide premiere at the Cinemark Theater in Helena on June 10th.  Statewide showings begin on June 12th at select Montana theaters with 3D capability near you.


Tourism Promotes the High Plains of Montana in New Campaign

In an effort to showcase central and eastern Montana, the Montana Office of Tourism recently launched a campaign to help grow awareness and fuel visitation to this area of our state.


Montana Media Highlights

Montana earned over $15 million dollars in travel-related publicity in FY09.


$300,000 Available in 2009 TIIP Grants

The grant pool for the 2009 TIIP Grants is $300,000 for tourism-related "brick and mortar" projects.


Tourism Advisory Council Adds Two New Members

The Governor-appointed Tourism Advisory Council (TAC) welcomed two new members to the table at the June meeting.
 


Montana Customer Service Training Opportunities Expanding

Montana's Superhost program to begin offering On-line Training, "Train the Trainer" and Advanced Skills Sessions in 2010.


National Folk Festival Returns to Butte in July

FREE, three-day event celebrates the roots, richness and variety of American culture, July 10-12, 2009.


New Border Requirements

There are new travel document requirements for crossing the border to enter or re-enter the United States from Canada, Mexico, Bermuda and the Caribbean by land and sea beginning June 1st.
